~Fandom Needs~

I'm hoping maybe Dreamwidth can provide me some fresh air in that area. I do fanart and fanfiction as a hobby, and work on original characters and original worlds outside of that. Don't worry, I'll only post that stuff when I get really wrapped up in it. I write a lot of character study fanfiction with shipping undertones, and has occasionally dipped into darker territory when it comes to topics and story direction. If it can go darker, then I may as well take the chance and soak the story rag dry, I say. Make it fun! Make it dark! Make it interesting! I've been writing fanfiction since I was about eleven years old, and as of last July I am twenty-six. Still chugging at it (can't stop won't stop).

My fanart, for now, will be minimal in nature. Last year I broke my tablet and to make a long story short, I haven't been able to afford a new one ever since then. I was hoping to scrape together what I need to buy a new one around the end of this year, however, my laptop is starting to fail and since I'm in college....well, priorities will be priorities. Long story short we'll see if I'm able to acquire a tablet by the end of next semester. For now I mostly work in traditional ink (I use Microns, though I'm open to suggestions of better lineart pens) and color it digitally (coloring without a tablet is a lot easier than making digital lineart without a tablet, lemme tell ya). Most of the stuff I turn out will be doodles or practice on characters designs. Still, I hope you guys like it.

But enough chatter from me. I think I should provide work samples instead of blabbering.
